In this article I’ll be giving my review of the Vengeance 1500 USB Gaming Headset made by Corsair.

I’ll be covering a lot of things about this headset like what I liked about it and also parts where I could see improvement. Along with that I’ll layout information about the important parts of the headset.

Let’s kick things off the what most of you might be the most interested in.

The Pros And Cons

It’s easy to see that Corsair put a lot of effort into the comfort level of this headset as soon you put this bad boy on.

Getting away from the comfort level, this headset still has a lot to offer gamers to make it a worthy headset choice.

I’ll be going over the specifics and get into detail on what I mean by durability issues in each section below.

Hows The Sound Quality

Sound quality should be a high importance obviously when you’re trying to decide on a headset which and Corsair didn’t let us down here.

One of the next best things of this headset, right behind the comfort is the audio quality.

This headset has Dolby 7.1 surround – Accurate multi-channel audio and 50 mm drivers which produce high quality sound.

The way the ear pads on this headset are made they help cup over the ears which helps lock in the sound even more, which is a nice little bonus.

Can You Hear Me Now (Microphone)

The Microphone is another major factor of any gaming headset that many gamers tend to not pay as much attention to as they should.

This is mainly because don’t tend to hear themselves so they tend to forget about it and just assume that they sound just as good as the sound that’s coming through their headsets.

With a lot of new features coming out lately it has made microphone much more impressive on their overall quality.

The Corsair Vengeance 1500 features a noise cancelling microphone, which is starting to become a must have for all new gaming headsets these days.

Comfort

As I’ve boasted multiple times within this article, this headset has the best level of comfort of any headset that I’ve ever used.

It has memory foam type of material that basically just conforms around yours ears. It also has a good amount of padding on the top half of the headset (inner half).

I feel that have drilled in the point about how comfortable I think this headset is so I’ll end this section off here.

Durability

This is the main area where I was disappointed with this headset.

I felt that with everything else being so great about this headset surely the reliability would match, unfortunately the headset broke off on one side.

Not sure exactly the material of what the headset is made out of but I really do wish that if they make any future versions they replace the material they used with something stronger.

It could be just a case of bad luck but unfortunately I have read others having reliability issues as well.

Where To Buy

If you decided to go ahead and buy the Corsair Vengeance 1500 after reading this article then we need to see about helping you find the best place to purchase it.

The first step I always recommend is go to Amazon to see if they have it and what price they have it at. I very rarely get past the first step to even have to start searching other places but it’s always nice to have those options.

Those would be check over at neweggs website and bestbuys (the website), very doubtful you’ll find the headset in your local store but they have a much larger selection on their website. 

In this article I’ll be breaking down (not literally) the Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 450 Wireless PC Gaming Headset with my overall review on what I thought about it.

I’ll be going over the features of this headset along with the pros and cons.

The Pros And Cons

There are a lot of things I really liked about this headset but a few things that may be a deal breaker for others when trying to decide on a mic to buy.

I’m not sure if the auto shutdown feature is something they can change with a software update but that would make a world of a difference for me personally.

I’ll get into more specifics about each part of the headset in its own section below.

The Sound

One of the best parts about this headset is the audio quality. This comes from the DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround Sound and Surround Sound Modes that are built into it.

Once you hear a movie/gameplay with audio like this it becomes very hard to go back to anything lesser.

The Microphone

I’m not sure whether this features should go under sound or microphone but one of the best features of this headset is the mic monitoring option.

This allows you to hear yourself through your headset that way you can tell if you need to adjust the volume of your mic any.

This comes in handy a lot and saves a lot of those, “Can you hear me now?” and “Is that better?” type of questions, which our buddies just love to help us figure out!

Other than that though the mic is decent quality which gets the job done but nothing overall amazing worth mentioning.

Comfort Level

Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 450 has a decent comfort level to it from the padding they have in the inner top half of the headset which makes for easy resting on the top of your head.

Along with that you also half the padded ear pads which is main area where you want comfort.

The only thing I wish about the padding is that it was a little bit softer, it’s not a huge deal but I’m trying to be as thorough as possible here for the sake of the review.

Other than that I don’t have any complaints about how comfortable this headset is.

What Kind Of Gaming Is This Headset Meant For

With so many different type of genres of video games nowadays some companies are building their products to focus more on a niche specific market.

With this headset however it isn’t generally designed at any specific type; It can be used for mmo games fps games or basically anything of the sort.

It also makes for a great movie watching headset with the audio quality and the free range of it being wireless.

Where To Buy

First option and my most recommended is look over at Amazon to buy it, which is where I get most of my gaming gear.

After that you can look at neweggs website or bestbuy to see what you can find, they usually have a solid selection in terms of gaming equipment.

Usually I would say don’t even bother trying to find any gaming equipment that you’re looking for in local store but Turtle Beach does a great job of keeping their headsets in local stores. I see them constantly whenever I go into BestBuy.

Should You Buy This Headset

If you’ve stayed with me this long and still unsure on whether you should buy this headset then I can recommend a few other things to help you make up your mind.

First off as far as wireless headsets go in this price range, it is one of the top ones you will find (at the time of writing this anyways).

Other than that I will say just look at some other reviews of this headset to see what others are saying they like/dislike about it because one of those may answer your question on what’s keeping you from buying it or not. 

In this article I’ll be giving my review of the Arctis 5 Gaming Headset made by SteelSeries.

This headset has far exceeded my expectations on how I thought it would be with 1 or two downsides here and there.

I’ll be covering all of that here in this post to hopefully help you decide on whether the SteelSeries Arctis 5 Gaming Headset is worth buying or not.

The Pros And Cons

As you can see the pros far out weight the cons on this headset and the con isn’t a huge deal.

It’s more of me being picky but I’ve gotten used to having cushion pretty much all over on my headsets so maybe it’s something that stuck out to me more than it would for others.

I won’t even say that it’s uncomfortable but literally having cushion around it or replacing it with cushion would just be a cherry on top in my opinion.

Enough of that though let’s look into the more important parts of this headset.

How’s The Sound Quality?

SteeleSeries did a great job with the audio on this headset by it having DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround on PC you get very clear yet high performance sound quality.

This works well with the ear pads on this headset because they help trap in the sound by laying over your years making the audio quality that much better!

Let’s Take A Look At The Microphone

On the flip side we have the next most important factor of any gaming headset or first depending on who you’re asking, which is the mic!

The SteelSeries Arctis 5 has a very high quality mic that I got a lot of complements on from buddies I game with on the clarity and background noise cancellation.

I usually have some sort of background noise going on like my T.V that usually drives my friends crazy when we’re playing which this headset helped eliminate a majority of that (or so my buddies tell me).

How Comfortable Is This Headset

As someone who plays a lot of mmorpg type of games, I’m usually wearing my headset for a good 4+ hours at a time.

This is why I place comfort as a high priority when I’m choosing my headset.

With that being said this headset was nearly one of the most comfortable headsets that I’ve ever used, and take note that I said “nearly”.

The ear pads are fantastic on comfort which is the main place area where you want it to be, however lots of headsets have started to feature padding on the inner top half of the headset which I’ve gotten spoiled with.

If they would have added the same type of padding that they used on the ear pads to the inner top of the headset, then this would be a 10/10 headset for me.

This doesn’t mean it’s uncomfortable in any way but by having that would have just made it perfect for me.

Where To Buy

If this article has impressed you enough to decide to pull the trigger on purchasing this headset then now we need to look at the best places to buy it.

I recommend starting off looking at Amazon which is where I also look first whenever I’m trying to buy anything gaming wise.

If you don’t see it there or want to check other options, then look over at bestbuy or neweggs website.

You should be set to choose from one of these 3 on where you want to purchase it from.

Should You Buy This Headset?

If you’ve looked at my best of article then you’d see this was ranked as my highest pick for 2019 (currently).

The only other reason I would suggest looking into another headset is if you have a large budget you’re looking to spend on getting the absolute top tier headset available or if you want a headset that may have more cushioning around the entire headset.

Aside from that, this headset is one of the best that you’re going to find in this price range so I give it a big thumbs up on my approval.

In this post we’ll be going over my review of the HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset made by Kingston. This headset has become one of the top of the line gaming headsets on the market and in this article we’ll go over why that is.

The Pros And Cons

There’s not a lot to dislike about this headset and even the stuff I did find was minimal at best.

With that said, no headset that I’ve come across is 100% perfect in my opinion so in the unlikely chance that one of the manufacturer actually reads my review they might take what I list as the downsides when brainstorming their next headset.

On HyperX Cloud 2 I will say that being able to detach the mic is something I wasn’t thrilled about, I want something that is built and can’t be taken apart (you know what I mean).

Other than that the only thing I can say as a downside is that this headset isn’t very aesthetic to the eyes but I don’t really care much about that.

Everything else on this headset I give a huge thumbs up on, in which I’ll be covering in more detail below.

Is The Sound Quality Good?

The HyperX Cloud II features some of the most impressive tech specs for audio that I’ve seen in a headset in this price range.

You’ll find that this headset features 53mm drivers audio drivers & 7.1 virtual surround sound which enough to make any gamer get down right giddy, that’s right I said giddy!

To make the audio even better, the earcups are made to cup over your ears, which helps with trapping in that sound to give it a more immersive type of feel to it. Basically what I’m getting at here is yeah, the sound quality is really good.

How About The Mic?

The microphone is an above average in terms of overall quality thanks to features such as noise cancelling. It produces solid quality that most gamers would be very pleased with.

The one thing that I’m not super thrilled about is the fact that the mic is able to be taken off and reapplied to the headset.

This may just be a pet-peeve type of thing with me personally but I don’t want to be able to detach stuff off of my gaming gear. Other may love this but for me not so much.

How Comfortable Is This Headset?

Comfort is very important when it comes to gaming headsets, yet so many gamers overlook it as they are more focused on other things like the mic quality.

This is easy to do but make sure you look as the headset as a whole.

Imagine buying a sweet looking car, decked with remote key less entry and top of the line audio equipment buy the seats are made of wood.

The seats are insanely important but most of us get caught up looking at the paint job.

Okay that rant is over, back to the HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset! This headset has memory foam ear pads, along with some padding on the inner half on the top part of the headset which make for a very comfy fit.

If you’ve decided that this headset is the one you want to go with and are looking around on where to buy it then I can recommend a couple of options for you.

First off check on Amazon which is where I get pretty much all of my gaming gear.

If for some reason I can’t get it from Amazon I look at either bestbuy, newegg and also over at the manufacturers website.

You should be looking having at least one option on where to buy this headset after looking at the ones I mentioned if not multiple options.
