The very first time I purchased my Creed Cologne, I knew that there is something about this brand to look out for.
For years, they have successfully created and released a wide range of fragrances for men and women.
The type of fragrance developed for both genders widely vary especially since men prefer masculine scene while women on the other hand would prefer soft, light and feminine scent.
But what is nice with Himalaya Cologne is that it is a unisex scent that both men and women can wear.
So does this product meet expectations?
Pros And Cons Of Creed Himalaya Mens Cologne
- A Signature Fragrance That Comes With A Very Elegant Packaging With The Cologne’s Metallic Exterior And The Shiny Surface
- Perfectly Combines Fresh, Citrus And Oriental Scent
- A Nice Gift Choice Since It Is A Unisex Cologne That Both Men And Women Can Use
- The Himalaya Cologne Is Suitable For Any Occasion Or Weather.
- It Does Not Hold Well For Hours Unlike Other Creed Colognes.
Created by Oliver Creed and was launched in 2002, Himalaya Cologne gives you a very fantastic scent that can be worn by both men and women alike.
The creator of this cologne drew inspiration from his challenging adventure when he climbed the Tibetan mountain.
As with the natural beauty of the Himalayas, it gives you that refreshing and natural scent that perfectly blends the different ingredients including pepper, tonka musk, sandalwood, grapefruit and mandarin.
Its very enticing scent is created for everyone to enjoy.
Composition: Creed’s Himalaya has this very fruity scent upon opening the bottle.
It gives you that citrus notes with the brand using top notes including lemon, bergamot and grapefruit.
The scent transitions into a more oriental fragrance with the very heart of this cologne that features sandalwood. The base notes include cedar wood, musk and ambergris.
The composition of this scent is really unique. Although some may not be a fan of this type of scent, in my personal view I like it.
The citrus opening gives you that refreshing fragrance that is then followed by an oriental scent.
The kind of fragrance produced by this cologne reminds you of the enchanting beauty, magnificence and high mountains covered with snow.
Best Use: It is an amazing fragrance that you can use at any time of the day. I notice some people have varying feedback about this cologne saying that it is too strong.
But when I personally tried and tested the product, I would say the scent’s just moderate, not too strong and not too light either. You just cannot put on a lot since it can be overwhelming.
In terms of the best use, Himalaya Cologne is perfect for any event or occasion.
The only drawback is that you cannot use this cologne if you are doing intense workout or if you are engaging in highly physical activities under a hot and humid weather.
Longevity: There is no doubt that the Himalaya Cologne by Creed can give you that amazing scent that depicts the Hindu gods from the Himalayas.
But what I don’t like about this cologne is that it is not long lasting. Of course, this aspect greatly varies from one to another and may often be relative.
Having tested the cologne on several occasions, I just notice that it easily fades away and it wouldn’t hold for hours. So if you want a long lasting cologne, this might not be the best option for you.
Will I still repurchase? Probably, although the cologne does not last long hours, one cannot discount the fact that the Himalaya Cologne has a lot to boast when it comes to composition, its over-all scent quality that makes it stand out above other signature fragrances.
If you are looking for that refreshing and citrus scent that gives you that majestic and enticing fragrance, the Himalaya Cologne is the best one to get.
But if you are like me who opts for a good cologne that has longevity, there are other Creed colognes that better suit your preference.
