Fitness DVDS: Best Home Workout Videos For Men & Women

Trying to find which home workout videos are best for your to use can be a difficult task.

Sure you can watch a few clips of the workout videos online to get a glimpse of what to expect but it’s like judging a movie by the movie trailer, you really don’t know what you’re going to be getting.

This is why I decided to write this article to help you decide on which fitness DVD workout programs might work better for you.

Workout videos have really taken off in the past 10 years so there are a good bit to choose from in which I’ll be covering my top picks in this article.

FOCUS T25

FOCUS T25 is one of the new workout programs by BeachBody.

This program focuses on losing weight & building muscle through short workouts which last 25 minutes for each workout.

Shaun T does a great job with this program by really help push you through even if you think you can’t.

FocusT25 does a great job of combining cardio, resistance and body weight exercises.

This program works for both women and men who are beginners to fitness or works just as good for those advanced fitness goers.

P90X3

The P90x3 name might look familiar to some of you because of the original p90x program that had gotten insanely popular.

Having almost completely finishing p90x a few years ago (Got To Day 75ish) the one complaint I had was the workouts were to long for me.

Apparently that might have been an issue with a lot of other people as well because in this version they shortened the workouts down to 30 minutes but still just as good as of a workout as the hour long ones that the original version offered.

This program is very similar to Focus T25 in the sense that it combines cardio, resistance and body weight exercises.

The difference is it takes you get a different instructor (Tony Horton) who I really like as a motivator and also you get different types of exercises.

Shaun T’s INSANITY MAX:30 Base Kit

The INSANITY MAX:30 Base Kit is another fitness program that you might recognize through its original program ‘Insanity’.

This program features the same workout instructor (Shaun T) as the T25 program that we first mentioned.

This program is all body weight type exercises so you won’t need any equipment to do this, just a good amount of space in a room to be able to stretch out and jump.

The kit comes with a lot of goodies like the No Time To Cook Guide, Calendars and of course the workout DVDs also come with it.

If you like the look of P90X3 but don’t want to have to use any weights or bands then INSANITY MAX:30 is probably a much better fit for you.

Rushfit Georges St-Pierre 8 Week Ultimate Home Training Program

Rushfit is not as well-known as the others I’ve mentioned here but that doesn’t mean it’s not as good.

First off Georges St-Pierre is a MMA fighter who is insanely good but that’s neither who nor there about the program I just wanted to let you know who he was in case you were wondering.

This program is very similar to the P90X3 in terms of you use equipment with this workout.

Rushfit focuses on 6 main areas in this workout program: Strength, endurance, core stability, power, flexibility, and balance and agility.

Something that I do want to touch on is that fact that this program can be used by male and females, I’ve heard many females say something about since this program is done by a MMA pro that they think that it’s made for those athletes.

This isn’t the case, this is an exercise, get in shape program that has nothing to do with MMA in the sense of actual fighting.

rip:60 Home Gym and Fitness DVDs

The rip:60 program take a somewhat different approach with its fitness program, at least compared to others we have talked about in this article.

The great thing about this program is that it takes a lot of the common types of exercises that you see in most of these programs and adds a twist to it with the rip:60 straps.

The workout focuses pretty much everything around using these straps so it definitely makes the workouts more fun to me because it’s something new.

For example, doing pushups over and over are boring but adding in a twist such as trying to do them with one leg makes it a little harder but also comes with better results in my opinion.

If you want to give one of these workout programs a try but think you might lose interest quickly then look into rip:60, it’s unique take on workouts may just been enough to keep your interest peaked.

Which Home Workout Program Should You Choose

I can’t specifically tell you which program would work better for you because each types of these will work differently per person.

If you know for sure you don’t want to use any equipment like weights or bands then look more into the focus T25 and Insanity:MAX.

On the other hand if you do want them then look into getting rip:60, Rushfit or P90x3.

Where To Buy These Products

Each of these programs can be bought from their websites but you can also buy them on Amazon which is where I purchased mine.

If you use ebay then you may be able to find someone selling their copies for a cheaper price if they no longer are needing them.

As of right now I’m not of any actual retail stores that sell these where you can just walk in purchase then leave.

Everything I’ve found is online purchasing, if anyone sees local stores selling any of these just let me know and I’ll be glad to correct this.

Other than that I appreciate you reading and if you do decide to go with one of these programs just let me which one you went with and how you liked it.
